    Pour and spread the compound immediately

Work quickly but calmly; the compound does the spreading, you are simply guiding it.

    Release trapped air with a spiked roller

    Immediately after spreading, roll a spiked roller across the entire surface in two directions. This bursts any air bubbles trapped during mixing and helps the surface skin form evenly.
