Before You Start: Narrow Down the Source

Remove it, reinstall the showerhead, and retest before going further.

    Unscrew the flexible hose from both ends — the showerhead and the wall outlet. Hold it up to the light: sediment, a twisted inner liner, or a cracked fitting can all choke flow.     If all local components are clean and clear but pressure is still weak, the fault is with incoming supply. First confirm the building's main pressure-reducing valve (if fitted) is not set too low — the gauge should read 2-3 bar for a shower to feel satisfying. If your property runs on a gravity tank, a dedicated shower pump fitted on the cold feed to the mixer will reliably boost pressure. Have a licensed plumber size and install the pump to avoid voiding any boiler warranty.

Yes. If pressure has dropped suddenly and affects multiple outlets, an active leak elsewhere in the system bleeds supply away from your shower. Check for damp patches on walls or ceilings and turn off all fixtures, then watch the water meter — if it keeps moving, call a plumber to locate the leak before doing anything else.
